Our client was in felony court for the first time in his life.  He had rammed into a police car while fleeing other officers in a stolen car.  For many lawyers this would sound like automatic prison time, but not to us.  We provided extensive mitigation including evidence that our client was enrolled in school and scheduled to graduate soon.  Based on our mitigation and investigation the government agreed to reduce the charge, place our client on probation, and keep the felony conviction off his record.
